Hari Raya Aidil Adha and Hols getaway
Hope it is not too late to wish everyone a Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha.. We just came back from our holiday getaway to Malaysia (again he he). Our first stop was to visit our maternal grandparents at the kampung.. we celebrated Hari Raya Aidil Adha there and had our first upclose and personal view of the korban or sacrificial of 5 cows held a stone throw away from our grandpa home - the sacrifice commemorates the willingness of Nabi Ibrahim (Prophet Abraham) to sacrifice his first born Nabi Ismail (Ishmael) for God . Dad took video of it but difficult to upload in the blog..(We told atuk we will be back again next time ) We had fun there and almost brought the house down and hope atuk tak serik serik invite us to his house.. he he )
Next we went to Sunway Lagoon resort for 3 days 2 nights and played at the adventure park and the water park.. it was really fun and exciting.. we played most of the rides that are within our height limits..Mum followed us for some of the rides but she felt giddy soon after.. so she had to rest ...Sis 1 also tried ice skating at Sunway Lagoon Shopping Centre..She can skate quite well considering its her first! No photos taken at Sunway because too busy playing and our resident photographer (mum) was just too tired and also afraid to take photos of our rides. She repeatedly warned us to be careful and not get too excited though dad was with us all the while!!
We then went to PNB Darby , our favourite apartment hotel, in the heart of the bustling KL city close to KLCC. My granny went shopping at her must go itinerary 'Mesjid India'. The kids gave that place a miss as it is actually a haven for mummies and grannies to buy their stuff. We stayed with auntie and watch DVD. Yup, the room came with DVD player !! he he
From KL, we went to Eagle Ranch Resort (yes ! again !!) and played archery, paintball and Sis1 played the go kart on her own.. envy her..!! The rest of us did not manage to play the go kart as it was drizzling and the track is not safe for us to play...
On the way back, grandma wanted to go Melacca to buy some souvenirs for her friends. We discovered another area for children to play.. Bro 1 and Sis 1 rode ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) while dad drove Sis2 and Bro 2 on the Go Kart.. at least we all get to play the go kart..
It was really tiring as we squeezed in 4 venues in a week but it was really fun.... we could not wait to go back ... nothing feels better than the comfort of our home sweet home!!!
We suggest to our parents to visit elsewhere the next time round. Our parents agreed said that that they will bring us to another country on our next hol trip, with God's willing. Anyway, we are still happy with another exciting trip to Sunway Lagoon and enjoy the time together with our family.
