Happy 9th Birthday Natasha!

It was sis1 9th birthday. 'HAPPY 9th Birthday Big Cha Cha'!!... we love you always !! Our one and only Big Cha Cha..We hope you have enjoyed yourself with the birthday celebration as much as we did...the games were fun!! from your adorable bros and sis....
we also had guest from Norway. It was dad business colleague who brought his family along when he was on short working trip here..

Sweating it out at East Coast Park..

It was a perfect weather for sweating out. Packed with our sporting gear, we headed to the East Coast Park to roller blade, skate board and cycle. Sis 2 rode the bicycle and bro2 ran around kicking the ball happily. I have somehow improved tremendously at rollerblading despite not practising it for quite sometime. Bro1 looked every inch the skateboarding junkie in the making. Under mum watchful eyes, she ensured that we had all the necessary head , elbow, knee protection before we start our activities.We love the sun but mum kept reminding us the danger of too much exposure to the ultra violet light rays.... Cool dad as usual kept reminding mum to relax and enjoy the weather and assured mum that all of us would be in his safe hands.. ha ha

Beriadah di Taman East Coast
Berbekalkan gear sukan, kami pergi ke Taman East Coast untuk bermain sepatu roda, papan roda dan berbasikal. Adik perempuan saya bermain basikal manakala adik bongsu saya gembira menendang bola. Saya dapat bermain sepatu roda dengan agak baik walaupun tidak berlatih sudah agak lama. Adik lelaki saya kelihatan seperti pemain papan roda yang mapan. Ibu memastikan kami memakai semua peralatan keselamatan khas untuk siku, lutut dan kepala sebelum bermain kegiatan yang agak berbahaya itu. Ibu juga mengingatkan kita tentang bahaya terlalu banyak pancaran UV ke atas kulit kita. Bapa seperti biasa meredakan kerisauan ibu dengan menyatakan yang kami semua selamat di bawah pengawasannya.

from our open terrace - my family likes to sit here on weekends or during public holidays to chit chat while having tea . At times, we sleep at the open terrace under the cool night accompanied by the twinkling stars looking at the starry starry night.... occasionally we see plane /helicopter flying by.....really sejuk at night.

here is where we spent most of our family time together - 'our home sweet home'. Each of us has our own favourite corner. My grandma for instance loves to tend to her DIY small garden where she plants 'daun kari', 'daun limau' , 'daun misai kucing' and others. My grandma eats the 'daun misai kucing' which according to her is very bitter but good for blood circulation.. he he he. Auntie Sonic occasionally plucks 'daun kari' or 'daun limau' for cooking. Our house is located a stone throw away from NUS where our parents used to spend their youthful years studying there. Our home is a 2 level maisonette unit in a lowrise condo. It is reasonably big for our family to rest and relax. Our housing area is surrounded by old landed housing with ours being one of the few tall buildings not more than 5 storeys high. But lately, the landlords have built low rise budget hotels which somewhat marred the quaintness of the area.

my cousins came to our house and we went to vivo city ...my family went to the wild wild wet.. bro1 , dad and myself tried all the rides (well almost!)...fun fun fun!!

School Holidays!! Yippee

Its school holidays once again. My family went to Avillion (yup, 2nd time). It was a fun-filled holiday with full itenerary. We swim, kite flying and played tennis. My dad also brought us to the Eagle Ranch close by. There, we played go-kart, archery and paint ball

Here's Bro2 with dad. As all of us were still underage, dad had to accompany us and each of us took turns to play the go-kart with dad as the main driver. Dad said he felt his head spinning after the 16th lap..... he he
