Hari Raya !!!

Today is Hari Raya!! This morning my daddy and I went to the nearby mosque for solat sunat Hari Raya. We had breakfast of ketupat, rendang, sambal goreng and kuah lodeh cooked by my grandmother. It was delicious. About noon, we went visiting to our close relatives place. In the evening, there were visitors to our house to visit my grandma. It was fun. My family dress code is blue. We wore different shades of blue. Dad, bro2 and myself wore dark blue while my sisters and mum wore light blue. We were so happy to get lots of collections!! (Fariq says)

We seek forgiveness from our parents and grandparents. Here's bro2 with daddy.

With cousins playing the sparklers .. it was fun.!

With 'Simba' errr...the cat.... kucing pun nak beraya!!! it is so cute!!
bro2 offered Simba his toy car.... but it was too frightened and ran to hide under its bed

sis 2 interviewed the owner Auntie Leha as to why she needs a cat in the house?
why do you think people keep pets when they are busy with work and children? my mum is definitely against the idea of keeping a pet (not even a goldfish!) as she has 4 hyper little adorable kiddies to take care!! he he .. so we just have to be contented with going to the Bird park or the Zoo to look at the animals where they would be taken care of professionally by the experts..

Fasting, Hari Raya and Exams

Oct is a busy month. I manage to fast on most days except when I had stomachache. It was tiring on initial two days but I felt much better there after. This eid, my dad family members will be gathering at my place as my grandmother will be stationed at my house. My mum made some cookies and bought some. We were excited to help. My mum half heartedly allowed us to play with the dough and keep reminding us to clean up the mess. I like kuih 'tat' while my brothers love 'suji' and 'almond london' cookies. Sis 2 loves any cookies with chocolate in it. This year, my family will be wearing blue 'baju kurongs' for Hari Raya. My siblings bought our shoes and clothing just before fasting month to avoid the Hari Raya crowd.
